A Shock Thank you

Hey everyone, welcome to another new week, hope you all had a great weekend and the sunny weather continues in the U.K.

Today I’m going to talk about a health professional I have been speaking to in the last two appointments I had.

I got referred to a section of the local mental health team that is known ATT. Well I was really nervous about this first meeting. If the person was anything like my last psychiatrist, In my mind, there was no hope.

I get to my appointment a little bit early, due to the buses running on time for a change. I’m sitting in the waiting room, it’s like a suna, so hot, hotter than my grandads care home. The lady calls me through and we start the appointment.

I was expecting to have to bring up my past and history, and it was a shock to the system I didn’t have to bring any of it up. she just talked about my medication. I found this really helpful and calming.

The lady discussed everything, making sure I understood it and that she knew what she was doing. She changed my medication, which I’ve been on for two weeks now, and It’s had a positive Impact on me. I am to see the lady again, in about 4 to 6 weeks.

I got a letter in the post a couple of days later explaining my meeting and my new medication and a new appointment time.

So it came to my appointment time last week, and I had to go see the GP as I had issue with my foot, which turns out to be gout. I’ve never had gall stones or kidney stones, and this hurt on a whole new level. I rang reception to cancel my appointment and they said they could get the lady to ring me, to which I agreed.

The lady rang and we discussed everything about keeping to the schedule of the new tabs and coming off the old ones. As a bonus, she helped me get my bus pass, which has really been helpful to me.

So this is a big thank you, you should be really proud of the job you’re doing, you made me feel heard for once, you listened and respected me and im so grateful, thank you.

I wish you all a great week and have chill one.

Thank you for reading, any comments drop them below and I’ll get back you.

What a good ode, and omen.

I always feel that help given deserves help given back.

So this Blog is a nice gesture.

People on the whole want to help, if they do not it might be because they cannot.

When you cannot help do not hinder because less things happen then, especially if you are a jolly good bean.

The picture is of the name Jarrold’s and TBH It was the telephoto lens I had on the camera that dictated this partial rendition of the name. I could not fit it all into shot without going further backwards. So I took what made sense. I had a Jar on Friday night at the Reedham Ferry Inn.
