FIRST TIME DOING POETRY

There is no "I" in struggle

FIRST TIME DOING POETRY

Hey, everyone. I hope you had an amazing weekend that achieved all you had planned.

Today, I’m going to talk to you about something that I have struggled with all my life. The reading poetry.

I’m really nervous to post this, has never done anything like this before.

Did you know that poetry doesn’t have to rhyme, im 36 years old and only found this out yesterday.

Me my partner and her best friend mum, have started to write again as a group as we was apart of a group before or just after covid , cant remember when we finished.

we got given a title called.

THE BUTTERFLY

This is my my version I came up with

The white Butterfly That always appears first in the garden With the birds singing and chirping

The white butterfly that’s dancing in the wind of the air from the songs of from the other birds

The white butterfly That appears as a remembrance symbol for a lost spirt .

I really like it might not be to everyone taste, but I’m proud and took something from this our session yesterday afternoon.

the writing went down well with a scone and clotted cream and jam as well a couple of glasses of Pepsi max.

Thank you for reading please enjoy any question don’t forget to drop a comment.

I wish you amazing week
